Naritasan Shinshoji Temple
This historic temple, which was established in 940 by High Priest Kanchō, is rooted in prayers for the pacification of the Taira no Masakado revolt.
It's just a short walk from the station, coming down from the hill, and both sides are lined with charming local craft shops. Compared to temples in Tokyo and Kyoto, this place is really peaceful. The garden is beautiful and perfect for a stroll, with ponds and waterfalls adding a calming vibe.
