Mt. Kinka Ropeway
It is a historic ropeway that first opened in 1955, and the current ropeway is the sixth generation. It takes about 4 minutes to reach the summit of the 329-meter-high mountain from the station in Gifu Park at the foot of Mt.Kinka, where Gifu Castle is located.
You can see both Mt. Kinka and the city views. It only takes 4 minutes to reach the top.
Hakone Sekisyo
After Ieyasu Tokugawa entered the Kanto region and established the Edo shogunate, the importance of the Tokaido highway connecting Edo and Kyoto increased, and it was necessary to strictly control the entry and exit of people to maintain the security of Edo.
It recreates the historical culture of the Edo period, and the scenery is also quite nice.
Hakone Sightseeing Cruise
A sightseeing ship that operates on Lake Ashinoko, a scenic spot in Hakone. The three ships, Royale II, Victory, and Queen Ashinoko, are characterized by their colorful and luxurious decorations. Each of them has a capacity of about 500 passengers and takes 25 to 35 minutes each way between Togendai Port, Hakone-machi Port, and Moto-Hakone Port. On a sunny day, the open deck is a great place to enjoy the scenery. Enjoy the pleasant breeze and the seasonal views of nature and mountains.

Naeba Ski Resort
One of the largest ski resorts in Japan, Naeba is known for its dry, high-quality snow. Its wide variety of courses, which have also hosted World Cup races, can be enjoyed by everyone from beginners to advanced skiers. The 4 km downhill course is truly spectacular.
The resort is huge and the snow quality is great. There are plenty of slopes for both beginners and advanced skiers.
Echizen Matsushima
Because the beautiful landscape of little islands resembled Matsushima in Rikuzen (Miyagi Prefecture), this scenic site was named "Echizen Matsushima". Located on the coast northeast of Tojinbo, a famous national natural treasure, the magnificent rocky cliffs can be seen from between peaceful fishing villages.
The aquarium nearby has penguin and dolphin shows. The coastline is really clean—no trash or debris in sight.
