Okushima Lake
A lake formed by the Shima River Dam, Okushima Lake lies deep in the mountains, about 30 minutes by car from JR Nakanojo Station, following National Route 353 north to its end.
Okushima Lake is unbelievably dreamy. No wonder everyone calls it the "Shima Blue." It looks even more stunning in person.

The matcha flavor is honestly delicious—I just couldn’t stop eating piece after piece.
Rokkatei Marusei Butter Sandwich
Since its establishment in 1933, the long-established confectionery maker Rokkatei has been dedicated to creating snack sweets that can be enjoyed every day with pocket money. A long-seller since its launch in 1977, their products have been a staple Hokkaido souvenir, cherished for their never-tiring taste.
As soon as you open the package, you can smell the rich aroma of rum. It’s so tempting, you just want to keep eating more.
Universal Studios Japan
Universal Studios Japan, nicknamed “USJ”, is a large-scale theme park with entertainment for everyone, both children and adults alike. The park is separated into different areas, each with a different theme from popular titles across the world.
There are hotels, restaurants, and shopping malls right outside the park. Super convenient and lots of fun and tasty options!
Shibuya Nonbei Yokocho
Just under 40 small but cozy izakaya are all lined up here along the rails near Shibuya Station.

Okunitama-jinja Shrine
Okunitama Shrine, with a history stretching back about 1900 years, is where Okunitama-no-Okami, the deity protecting the Musashino area, is enshrined. Musashino was a vast area including modern-day Tokyo, Saitama, and parts of Kanagawa. Inside the shrine grounds are several smaller shrines, each one granting its own blessing. Among those, the shrine blessing love and marriage is especially well-known.
Known as one of Tokyo's five major shrines, it has over 2,000 years of history. In September, there's a chestnut festival with lanterns lit up inside the shrine, creating a fantastic atmosphere.
