This vast open park is not only a free-roaming paradise for more than a thousand wild Nara deer, but is also surrounded by many world-class historical sites. As you stroll along the lush approach, you can encounter the clever deer at any moment. Buy a pack of special deer crackers, and you'll instantly become the most popular person around. Watching them politely bow while also seeming a little impatient as you feed them is truly both adorable and amusing.

Besides interacting with the deer, the area around the park is home to the magnificent Todaiji Temple, with its enormous Great Buddha, the mysterious Kasuga Taisha Shrine, and scenic Sarusawa Pond. Whether you're walking along stone lantern paths beneath towering ancient trees or sitting on the grass enjoying the sunshine, every corner is rich in culture and nature.

I highly recommend setting aside half a day to a full day for Nara Park when visiting Kansai. Whether you plan a relaxing walk or fully enjoy interacting with the deer, it will definitely leave you with soothing and wonderful memories of your trip!

Walking into the grounds of Naminoue Shrine, even though the site isn't large, the peaceful atmosphere immediately puts your mind at ease. Since ancient times, this has been a sacred place of worship dating back to the Ryukyu Kingdom, mainly for praying for safe voyages, peace and good fortune, and protection from misfortune. Besides paying your respects, the shrine's amulets are also quite beautifully and uniquely designed. The ones with Okinawan ocean themes or cute designs especially make you want to take one home as a souvenir.

After visiting the shrine, don't miss the hidden highlight nearby--follow the path down to the famous Naminoue Beach. From here, you can look up at Naminoue Shrine standing on the cliff, framed by crystal-clear turquoise water and white sand. It's as beautiful as a postcard and a great angle for photos.

Every time I visit, I find plenty of stylish, on-trend items to take home.

The location is also incredibly convenient—you can get there directly from the station without opening an umbrella on rainy days. When shopping in Osaka Umeda, you definitely shouldn't miss the iconic romantic attraction—the HEP FIVE Ferris Wheel! You can spot this eye-catching, giant red Ferris wheel perched on the mall's rooftop from far away, adding a striking splash of color to Umeda's bustling skyline.

As soon as you reach the top floor of the HEP FIVE mall and get ready to board, you can't help but feel excited. Once inside the fully enclosed, air-conditioned gondola, the Ferris wheel slowly rises and magnificent views across Osaka unfold before your eyes. You can look down over Umeda's lively streets, and on a clear day, you can even see the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge and Osaka Bay in the distance. The view is incredibly expansive.

Every time I visit Japan's Kansai region, I absolutely have to set aside a whole day for Universal Studios Japan (USJ), a dream theme park that's always coming up with something new and drives both adults and kids wild! As soon as I reach the entrance and hear that classic, cheerful theme song, I instantly switch into an adrenaline-filled vacation mode.

The park's biggest attractions, Super Nintendo World and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, are definitely the most popular must-visit spots. Step into Mario's world, use a Power-Up Band to hit blocks and battle enemies, and experience the park's thrilling rides; then turn the corner and head to Hogwarts Castle for a cold Butterbeer. Every visit feels fresh and exciting.

Besides the classic rides, the park's popular themed events are always well done. From the incredibly intense The Flying Dinosaur in Jurassic Park to all kinds of immersive, limited-time anime collaborations and spectacular parades, there's so much to see at every turn. The seasonal popcorn buckets and unbelievably cute merchandise throughout the park also make it impossible not to spend money every time I visit.

I highly recommend putting Universal Studios Japan on your must-visit list when traveling to Osaka. I strongly suggest buying your admission ticket and Express Pass well in advance so you can efficiently conquer all the popular attractions you want to experience in one go!

While traveling in Kumamoto, Kyushu, I discovered a huge complex that combines shopping, dining, and a transportation hub—SAKURA MACHI Kumamoto! This stylish mall, newly completed in recent years, feels modern and convenient from the moment you walk in.

The interior is spacious and bright, with more than 100 fashion brands, lifestyle goods stores, large drugstores, and stylish boutiques spread from the first floor to the top floor, making it a great place to browse and shop. Best of all, there is a lush rooftop garden where you can take a walk outside when you get tired of shopping and enjoy a wide, relaxing view of Kumamoto Castle in the distance.

Besides shopping, the food court and restaurants offer so many choices that it's hard to decide. Whether you want authentic local Kumamoto cuisine, popular ramen, or elegant desserts and afternoon tea, you can find it all here. It is also a large bus terminal, Sakura Machi Bus Terminal, so whether you're taking a bus to Mount Aso or traveling to and from other prefectures, the transportation convenience is unbeatable.

I sat down in the retro, nostalgic seating area and ordered their signature ramen with two egg yolks and chashu without hesitation. When the steaming bowl arrived, the first thing that caught my eye was the two raw egg yolks, paired with generous slices of thick-cut chashu and bright green scallions.

The soul of this bowl is the rich tonkotsu broth simmered by hand by the chef, along with Kurotei's signature black garlic oil. With the first big sip, the richness of the pork bone broth and the uniquely roasted garlic flavor of the black garlic oil blended perfectly in my mouth. It had incredible depth but was surprisingly easy to drink. After breaking the raw egg yolks and mixing them into the noodles, the thick, straight noodles soaked up the egg and rich broth, making them smooth and springy. Every bite was deeply satisfying!

I highly recommend adding Kurotei Main Store to your food list when visiting Kumamoto and trying this authentic, iconic Kumamoto ramen that has been fragrant for decades. I guarantee you'll keep thinking about it after just one taste!
