Soaking in the hot spring while looking out over Lake Shinji is seriously so relaxing.
Going at sunset makes it totally worth it.

Tokyo National Museum
The Tokyo National Museum is the oldest institution of its kinds in Japan, founded in 1872. The museum is comprised of 6 exhibition buildings, which are Honkan (Japanese Gallery), Toyokan (Asian Gallery), the Gallery of Horyuji Treasures, Heiseikan: Japanese Archaeology and Special Exhibits, Hyokeikan, and Kuroda Memorial Hall.
It's said to be the oldest museum in Japan.
I was lucky enough to see a national treasure from the Jingo-ji Temple on display! -
