A great place to overlook Lake Toya. The endless lake view makes you feel even more relaxed. There are also free tripods available now, so everyone can take beautiful photos.
The shop has some unique items, including yogurt drinks in various flavors and birch sap. It's a place worth visiting!

Lake Toyako Long Run Fireworks Display
The Lake Toyako Long Run Fireworks Display began in 1982 as a way to attract tourists back to the area after the 1977 eruption of Mount Usu. Held at Toyako Onsen, this spectacular event runs for six months each year, from late April to the end of October. Every night at 8:45pm, around 450 fireworks illuminate the sky for approximately 20 minutes, their vibrant, colorful reflections bounding over the lake’s surface in a mesmerizing display.
You don't need to take a boat—you can see the beautiful fireworks from the shore. Although the display is quite small compared with typical fireworks festivals, enjoying fireworks by the lake is a different kind of pleasure. You can also see their reflections on the water. It was a very impressive and unique experience.
