This was my second visit to the Kawaguchiko Music Forest Museum, and it still felt like a romantic European fairy-tale town. Inside one of the buildings, the enormous self-playing pipe organ I remembered sounded just as magnificent and moving, giving me goosebumps.

The best thing about coming here by bicycle is that you can park easily and take your time without worrying about a schedule. I found a comfortable spot in the grounds, sat down, ordered a cup of coffee, and slowly took in the exquisite European-style architecture, the colorful flowers competing for attention, and, most breathtaking of all, the magnificent, completely unobstructed view of Mt. Fuji in the background. I was very lucky to have clear, cloudless weather today, so it was easy to capture beautiful photos of Mt. Fuji and the European garden together. If you're traveling to Lake Kawaguchi, this is definitely a dreamy place that's well worth visiting and sure to put you in a good mood.
