A place I definitely recommend for families with small children. It's a fun place with a science museum, zoo, and mini amusement park all in one.

NAGO PINEAPPLE PARK
This theme park, established in 1992, specializes in pineapples. Visitors can appreciate pineapple fields, colorful flowers, and jungle-like plants, and learn about the history of pineapples in Okinawa through lectures and materials about pineapples.
You can ride around the park, so the kids were thrilled. The day after we went, they said, “I want to go again today!” You can take lots of cute photos there.

Oirase Stream
Oirase Stream, a renowned tourist attraction awarded two stars in the Michelin Green Guide, stretches approximately 14 kilometers from the shores of Lake Towada at Nenokuchi to Yakeyama. It's a national Special Place of Scenic Beauty and Natural Monument, celebrated for its waterfalls, clear streams, giant rocks, and steep cliffs.
I wasn’t confident I could walk the entire route, so I went by car. There were parking spaces along the way, so I got out of the car and took a leisurely walk while observing the waterfalls and plants. The sound of the flowing water was soothing.

Aomori Museum of Art
This art museum is 5-minute on foot from Sannai Maruyama Historical Site, the world cultural heritage site. The highlight of this museum is ALECO for the ballet, painted by one of the prominent artists in the 20th century, Marc Chagall (1887 - 1985).
It was an art museum where you could enjoy works by distinctive artists. To find the Aomori Dog, I had to go up and down stairs and walk quite a bit.
