Your fun day is going to start at “Kiyosumi-shirakawa station” on Toei subway Oedo Line!
First of all, let’s go walk around the “Kiyosumi Garden”, which is about 3 minutes’ walk from the Kiyosumi-shirakawa station. This is a “stroll-style garden” with artificial hills and a dry landscape garden with rock and sand placed around a central pond. The garden offers different beauties in each season.

11:30 Tomioka Hachimangu Shrine

After taking a walk in Kiyosumi Garden, let’s get off from a Toei subway at “Monzen -nakacho station”, which is 1 station from Kiyosumi-shirakawa station on Oedo Line. Walk for 6 minutes from the station, and you will find “Tomioka Hachimangu” shrine built in 1627.

The annual festival at Tomioka Hachimangu; also called "Fukagawa Hachiman Festival" is one of the "3 most renowned festivals in Edo (Tokyo)”.
Every year, the festival is held around August 15th and the site of mikoshi bearers getting water splashed is definitely a must-see site! In 2017, there was hon-matsuri festival at the shrine, which is held once every 3 years. During the festival, 50-plus mikoshi palanquins paraded the area.

13:00 TARLUM BIANCO Odaiba

After visiting “Tomioka Hachimangu”, let’s take a Toei Bus. “Monzen-Nakachō” bus stop is located about 2 minutes’ walk from the Toei Oedo Line “Monzen-nakacho” station. Get on “海01” Toei Bus for about 30 minutes and you will arrive at “Odaiba-Kaihin-Kōen Sta.” stop.

By then, it’s going to be around lunch time, so let’s walk for about 3 minutes from the bus stop and have lunch at a recommended “TARLUM BIANCO Odaiba”.♪
