There are three Music Box Museums in Hokkaido: Otaru, Hakodate and Furano.
And Kamakura, Kyoto and even Okinawa also have our shops outside of Hokkaido.
All museums are admission free. They are also popular facilities for DIY music boxes!

Hokkaido: Otaru Music Box Museum

Otaru Music Box Museum has more than 3400 types of music boxes and it’s the largest specialty shop in Japan.
And the building was built of brick in 1912, which is a historical city landmark in Otaru.
