Make Your Own Unique Music Box in This Retro Music Box Hall
At the Music Box & Handicrafts Studio You-kobo you can try making your own music box by hand. You can decide on the body and tone of your music box, then choose your favorite glass accessories. You can also choose from a variety of songs and decorations for the exterior, so the result is a completely unique one-of-a-kind music box with your favorite song in it!
On top of the music box handmaking experience, you can also take part in others, including stained glass, pressed flowers, and sandblasting. Prices vary and whether reservations are required or not depends on the case. You can choose any experience what you prefer based on your travel needs!
The hall itself is made of solid stone and feels very stately, and it has even been designated as a historic building. It is located right next to the main building of the Otaru Music Box Museum, about a 7-minute walk from JR Minami-Otaru Station.
