Mitarai Gorge

The scenery that unfolds from season to season is praised as one of the most beautiful in the Kinki region.
Waterfalls of all sizes and huge rocks can be seen here, and the autumn foliage that changes color from the top of the mountain is truly spectacular.
There is a boardwalk along the river, so you can safely enjoy hiking.

In autumn, the leaves of the Japanese maple, acer pictum, and acer amoenum change color.

You can also go to the Dorogawa Hot Spring Center by crossing a gentle mountain forest course. After enjoying a walk in the wilderness, a soak in the hot spring is highly recommended.
