TOYOTA AUTOMOBILE MUSEUM

The Toyota Museum is a museum that introduces the history of automobiles and automobile culture around the world. It was established in 1989 as one of the commemorative projects for the 50th anniversary of Toyota Motor Corporation.

"The Automobile Gallery," about 140 representative vehicles from Japan, the U.S., and Europe are on display, allowing visitors to trace the history of automobiles from the birth of the gasoline-powered car at the end of the 19th century to the present day. It is also worth mentioning that almost all of the vehicles are displayed in drivable condition. Free guided tours are offered twice a day at "The Automobile Gallery" and once at "The Automobile Culture Showroom," and visitors can participate in these tours to deepen their understanding.

"Automobile Culture Showroom" in the Cultural Gallery, about 4,000 cultural materials related to cars, such as posters, car toys, and car mascots, are on display. The exhibition of about 800 miniature cars is particularly impressive and makes you forget the passage of time. The museum also holds special exhibitions that explore the appeal of automobiles from a variety of perspectives, and these are always popular.

The museum has a library full of automobile-related materials, restaurants, cafes, and other facilities where you can relax.
