This hands-on facility is based on the motif of Kenji Miyazawa's fairy tales. The ”Ginga Station (Galaxy Station)", "Tenkuu no Hiroba (Plaza in the Sky)", "Kenji no Kyoshitsu (Kenji's Classroom)", "Yosei no Komichi (Fairy's lane)", "Fukurou no Komichi (Owl's lane)", "San'ya Soen (Wildflower Garden)", and "Kenji no Gakko (Kenji's School)" are all designed in a fantastical way.
The main attraction is "Kenji no Gakko (Kenji's School)"," which is divided into five zones: "Fantasy Hall," "Space," "Sky," "Earth," and "Water," where visitors can see a slightly different world.
Sitting in Kenji's Chair in the Fantasy Hall, visitors can see forests, starry skies, and other scenes from Kenji's fairy tales projected on the bookshelves on the walls.
When visitors arrive at the Earth Room, you are greeted by giant insects and can explore the world of living creatures.
It is a facility where visitors can experience a mysterious space.
In addition, visitors can learn about "plants," "animals," "stars," "birds," and "stones" that appear in Kenji's fairy tales at "Kenji no Kyoshitsu (Kenji's Classroom)," an exhibition facility built in a log house.
This popular facility is full of attractions, such as the "Tenkuu no Hiroba (Plaza in the sky)" with a gate where you gradually become taller and taller, and "Yousei no Komichi (Fairy's Lane)," where you will be welcomed by the objet d'art of "Tsukiyo no denshinbashira (The telegraph poles on a moonlit night)" and birds.
