A large aquarium with approximately 400 species and 20,000 creatures on display in a building modeled after a real castle.
The aquarium is centered around "Nixe Castle," which was built on the actual "Egeskov Castle" model in Denmark. About 400 species and 20,000 living things are on display. The entire interior of the beautiful brick castle is used as an aquarium.
You will be greeted by Napoleon fish swimming in the Crystal Tower, a large 8-meter high columnar tank at the entrance. In the aqua tunnel at the bottom of the large tank, sharks and rays swim gracefully above your head. Don't miss the touch pool, one of the largest in Hokkaido, and the jellyfish tank with light and sound effects.
Cute performance shows of dolphins and sea lions, etc., are held daily. It is also a facility where you can play all day long. It has a plaza full of greenery, an amusement park, "NixeLand," and a restaurant with a popular menu using local ingredients.
Furthermore, it is easily accessible, about 5 minutes from Noboribetsu Higashi Interchange. It is also only about a 15-minute drive from Noboribetsu Onsen.
Noboribetsu Marine Park Nixe is modeled after the actual "Egeskov Castle" in Denmark and the old townscape of the area.

登別必去 (NIXE 登別尼克斯海洋公園)
一個適合大人跟小孩的地方 , 能夠在北海道這裡看到海洋公園真的是相當罕見 , 這邊有很多表演 : 好比企鵝走路就是這個海洋公園中最大的賣點!! 基本上來到這裡的客人都是為了企鵝的巡迴表演慕名而來的 .
來到這邊的旅客想必對於吃飯的事情就會相當頭疼了 , 但是不用擔心 ~ 海洋公園內雖然不大 , 但是麻雀雖小五臟俱全 , 來到這邊的旅客幾乎都會選擇壽喜燒吃到飽 , 但是也是有其他餐廳跟小點心(冰淇淋)都非常推薦喔!

裡面都是台灣來的遊客團，幾乎沒看到什麼日本人。
企鵝走路和輕快的音樂呈現方式，近距離看國王企鵝遊行是最大的賣點。
