As the name suggests, this little museum heralds the works of world acclaimed architect Kengo Kuma using panels that detail the 6 different buildings designed by him across the town of Yusuhara.

If you want to find the 6 spots designed by Kengo Kuma in Yusuhara Town, this is the place to start. Inside you’ll find a deep dive into the world of architecture, using models to detail the ceiling of Kumo no Ue no Toshokan, detailed miniatures of “Jigokugumi”, the wood assembling method he used, or fully-detailed models of the Kumo no Ue Gallery. There’s even a mini movie with an interview of Kengo Kuma that you won’t want to miss.

The Kumo no Ue hot springs and pool are available for daytime drop ins so make sure to swing by! Inside you’ll find soothing hot springs to wash away the wear of your of your travels, sourced from a spring located at the headwaters of Shimanto River, the last clear stream in Japan.

※During the redesign of Kumo no Ue Hotel the exhibits can be found on display at the first government office building.
