MIRAIZA OSAKA-JO
Reuse of a historical building looking up in front of Tower of Osaka Castle.
A complex of historical buildings located in the plaza in front of the Tower of Osaka Castle. Built in 1931, the former army office building has an eye-catching, stately exterior reminiscent of an old medieval castle in Europe. Inside, the upper walls are decorated with vivid ornaments, and the corner towers on the front and four corners still retain the atmosphere of the past.
Currently, four floors from the basement to the third floor are open to the public, and on weekends, they are crowded with mainly tourists. The restaurant "BLUE BIRDS ROOF TOP TERRACE" equipped with a rooftop terrace overlooking Osaka Castle and "THE CONAMON BAR RIKYU'' offering Osaka's specialty takoyaki in a stylish space as well as a gift shop "Osaka Castle Honjin" where original goods typical of Osaka Castle are lined up are open for business.
Enjoy shopping and relaxing in a delicious atmosphere while reflecting on the history and culture that the buildings have taken over the years.
