Itoaguri

Located in Itoshima, Itoaguri is a select store for food and drinks, utilizing the building of the historical "Fukuju Soy Sauce" brewery, known for its soy sauce and sake production. The charming first floor offers a variety of local Itoshima favorites like authentic mirin, soy sauce, and miso, alongside an array of enticing items related to food from across Japan.

Their original "All-Purpose Vinegar" is popular for its simplicity – just chop seasonal vegetables and mix to create easy pickles. It's also versatile, perfect for sushi vinegar, escabeche, and dressings. Another signature product, the "All-Purpose Natural Dashi," uses ingredients like bonito flakes from Kagoshima, mackerel flakes from Kumamoto, shiitake mushrooms from Oita, and dried sardines and grilled flying fish from Nagasaki. This natural dashi enhances dishes with its rich umami.

The second floor suggests renowned liquors from local Itoshima and across Kyushu, alongside selections from throughout Japan. Purchased items can be enjoyed right there in the tasting space provided.
