The hot spring water comes from ancient seawater trapped 1,000m underground about 15 million years ago. It is rich in minerals and has a distinctive salty taste. The sodium-calcium-chloride springs are said to soothe a number of ailments, from neuralgia and muscle pain, to cuts and more.. In addition to the indoor bath, there is also an outdoor rock bath, where you can relax and bathe while gazing at the starry sky at night.

Rooms are available in Japanese style with a view of the Hime River and Western style on the mountain side. The top-floor Japanese rooms and deluxe twin rooms include a private en suite bath overlooking the tremendous balcony views of the Hime River’s clear streams and the beautiful ridgeline of the Northern Alps.

At the main restaurant, "La Palette", you’ll find seasonal dishes using fresh seafood from the Sea of Japan and local mountain produce. Immerse yourself in hot springs and gourmet food for a luxurious time.
