Aburaya Bekkan Nagomitei

Located in the scenic town of Ine on the Tango Peninsula in Kyoto, Aburaya Bekkan Nagomitei is a luxurious inn with just 12 guest rooms, each featuring a private open-air bath overlooking the Sea of Japan. From the large windows and baths, guests can enjoy breathtaking ocean views-especially stunning at sunset.

Each spacious room offers refined comfort, with features such as observation decks, terraces, traditional sunken hearths (irori), or horigotatsu heated tables, creating an indulgent and relaxing atmosphere. The inn’s hot spring water comes from its own natural source and is known for its silky, smooth texture that’s gentle on the skin. In addition to the private baths in each room, there are also a large communal bath and an open-air bath with panoramic views.

Meals feature exquisite kaiseki cuisine prepared with an abundance of fresh, locally caught seafood. Seasonal specialties like winter yellowtail (kanburi) and pufferfish are served, and the popular Matsuba crab course lets you savor the delicacy grilled, as sashimi, or in a hot pot. All meals are served in-room, allowing guests to dine in a private and relaxed setting.
