Both the guestrooms and interior space saw renovations in 2023 to better preserve the authentic Japanese ambiance while ensuring the latest comforts.
For cuisine, the ryokan keeps a coveted menu of Kyoto kaiseki style made with local Tango area ingredients. Come for a taste of seasonal delights and unforgettable seafood including Tango chicken clams and Matsuba crab, a winter delicacy of Tango. Both dinner and breakfast highlight local fare like Miyazu's dried fish and vegetables sourced from local farmers.
