teamLab Biovortex Kyoto
Japan’s largest teamLab museum, featuring a collection of over 50 immersive art installations.
Opened in October 2025 in the southeastern area of Kyoto Station, this is teamLab’s newest museum. Using advanced digital technology, it showcases immersive artworks that transform in response to human presence and movement, displayed across Japan’s largest teamLab space, covering approximately 10,000 square meters.
The museum features more than 50 works, including pieces making their debut in Japan such as Sculptures without Mass or Form. Alongside popular works from other teamLab museums, there are also pieces that can only be experienced in Kyoto. Based on the concept of “perceiving the world through the body and thinking in three dimensions,” the Athletics Forest encourages visitors to develop spatial thinking through physical movement, while Learn! Future Park, where participants collaborate to create shared art worlds, is especially popular with children.
Adult entry passes with designated time slots vary in price depending on the date and time of the visit. With the flexible pass, which specifies only the visit date, guests can enter at any time during opening hours.
