An interactive facility in eastern Sendai centered on agriculture and horticulture. Its spacious grounds feature flower beds and gardens filled with seasonal blooms, adding color throughout the year. Visitors can also learn about agriculture in a hands-on way through harvest experiences and cooking activities.
The rose garden is home to Approx. 200 varieties and 1,200 rose bushes, with the best viewing seasons in spring and fall. The plum garden offers Approx. 60 varieties and over 125 plum trees, and the flower beds, replanted each season, are also beautiful. The flower beds are planted with seasonal flowers such as pansies, violas, sunflowers, and cosmos, and are also illuminated at night.
The center also offers a full range of hands-on programs, including tomato picking, fruit picking, cooking experiences, and botanical workshops, making it a great destination for families. The tourist farm, where these activities take place, also has a café and a farm stand selling fresh vegetables, both popular for original gelato and fresh vegetables and fruit grown on-site.
