Founded in 1964, Tosagyoen is located in Kochi City, Kochi Prefecture. It is known as a long-established inn serving heartfelt cuisine. Despite being in the heart of the city, this ryokan features well-equipped open-air baths and large public baths.

A total of 65 guest rooms are available to suit a wide range of needs, from traditional pure Japanese-style rooms to modern Japanese-inspired rooms. Another distinctive feature is the butterfly-themed decor and items placed throughout the property. For dinner, guests can enjoy seasonal local dishes from Kochi. Among them, seared bonito and Sawachi cuisine are especially well known as local specialties. For breakfast, guests can enjoy a wide variety of Japanese and Western buffet dishes. Freshly made rice balls served from the live kitchen are a popular menu item.

It is also conveniently located, about a 5-minute walk from JR Kochi Station, making it a great base for sightseeing.
