A family-friendly leisure spot set in peaceful countryside, Tarugahashi Amusement Park brings together a small zoo and an amusement park. In the zoo area, visitors can meet approx. 20 kinds of animals, including alpacas and goats, while the amusement park area offers classic attractions like a merry-go-round and go-karts for a full day of fun.

In 2021, an all-weather petting barn and an indoor kids’ space were added, making the facility even easier to enjoy on rainy days. Hands-on experiences that bring children close to the animals are especially memorable for young kids. Popular rides include go-karts that run through the woods and a merry-go-round with a retro feel, giving the park plenty of amusement-park appeal as well.

Access by car is convenient, with the park approx. 15 minutes by car from JR Nakajo Station or Tainai Smart IC. Roadside Station Tainai is next door, making it easy to take a break or shop for souvenirs on the way there or back.
