The atmospheric Japanese garden has the 3-meter-high Fukei Waterfall and tea houses such as Ikkeian and Shiomitei, offering a relaxing setting with a traditional Japanese feel. Follow the loop path around the garden while watching koi swim in the pond. The black pine grove facing Isshiki Beach also offers panoramic views of Mount Fuji, the Izu Peninsula, and Izu Oshima Island.
The park is also home to the Hayama Shiosai Museum, which displays a valuable collection of marine specimens gathered by Emperor Showa, along with fish, shellfish, crustaceans, and seaweed found in Sagami Bay. The variety of things to see and do is part of the park's appeal.
