Hiroshima Food Festival 2026

The Hiroshima Food Festival celebrates the bountiful fall harvest in Hiroshima, a region blessed with produce from both the sea and mountains, while showcasing the flavors of the season. One of the prefecture's largest food events, it attracts more than 200,000 visitors each year.

Multiple venues are set up around Hiroshima Castle, including the Honmaru, Kitabori Plaza, and Sannomaru Plaza, as well as the adjacent Hiroshima Stadium Park. A wide variety of exhibitors take part, including popular restaurants from across the prefecture, well-known food manufacturers, and local governments, with more than 200 booths across all venues. Visitors can sample Hiroshima specialties such as okonomiyaki and Onomichi ramen, as well as dishes featuring local products such as oysters and conger eel. Regional specialties from across Japan and international cuisine are also available.

The venues also host a wide range of activities, including food-related exhibits and quiz booths, stage performances, and a stamp rally. Highly regarded agricultural products grown in Hiroshima Prefecture, including lemons and vegetables, are also sold directly by producers.
