Yagenbori Hassho is a top class popular restaurant, even within Hiroshima City that has many Okonomiyaki restaurants. People line-up in front of the restaurant every day, and it has a great deal of media coverage.

The cooking time for the Okonomiyaki is 20-30 minutes. The Chinese noodles inside the Okonomiyaki are grilled until crisp, and their texture is also superb. It is nice to be able to eat at a reasonable price, despite it being carefully prepared by an experienced artisan. Okonomiyaki for take-away is also available. As well as Okonomiyaki, one can also enjoy ox tongue and seafood Teppanyaki (Japanese iron griddle cuisine). Enjoying the Teppanyaki whilst the Okonomiyaki is cooking is recommended.
