All Reviews of Fukutaro "Mentaiko-flavored Senbei 'Menbei'"

Fukutaro's senbei from Fukuoka come in many different packages and flavors. This time, I received the mentaiko senbei in the packaging with red lettering. The texture is slightly on the hard side, with a mild spiciness that makes it quite distinctive. Although the overall flavor is pretty good and it is considered one of Fukuoka's signature souvenirs, I personally prefer the texture of rice-based senbei and wouldn't go out of my way to buy these.

Fukutaro's Hokkaido-exclusive mentaiko senbei is crispy and tasty. It combines the savory, slightly spicy flavor of mentaiko with a special Hokkaido twist, giving it a rich, layered texture that makes it hard to stop eating. The packaging also has a nice Hokkaido feel, so it's highly recommended whether you're enjoying it yourself or giving it as a gift.
