After the disappointment of not getting to try the freshly fried fries, I started buying up a ton of stuff. I was just looking through my photos and found this. Everyone, please, this is so good. I originally thought it looked pretty unremarkable, but it turned out to be super delicious. I devoured a whole box by myself...

But then again, I'm already a potato lover. This is Tokyo-exclusive, right?!

(I once saw a book at Eslite called

“Crazy for Potatoes,” and I honestly think the author and I could become sworn sisters. Not sure if she'd want to though, haha.)

Ugh, I wish I'd bought a few more boxes.

It's seriously delicious〜the kind that leaves you licking your fingers and savoring the flavor,

because there's so much seasoning powder.

Calbee+ at Tokyo Station offers a variety of exclusive snacks, but the freshly fried French fries are the top pick. They’re crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and wonderfully fragrant—especially delicious while hot. It’s a must-visit spot for a tasty snack and souvenirs while exploring Tokyo Station.

I only meant to pick up a souvenir, but the smell of freshly fried potato fries pulled me right in. The fries at Calbee+ are seriously dangerous. Hot and crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and on a totally different level from what I usually eat!

After that, I quietly grabbed several bags of limited-edition snacks to take back to the hotel. I thought I’d save them and enjoy them slowly back in Taiwan, but they were almost gone before the trip was even over.
