Walking from Inuyama Station toward Inuyama Castle, you’ll pass through a castle town shopping street full of traditional Japanese charm. The old-fashioned streetscape has been preserved, and each little shop has its own character, so you won’t get bored while strolling and browsing. I also ran into a lot of Taiwanese people along the way. Hearing familiar Chinese instantly made me feel at home 😂 It seems Inuyama Castle really is a popular stop for many people visiting Nagoya. There are also plenty of snacks and souvenirs to buy along the way. It’s very relaxing to pick up a small snack and eat it while walking.

Amanohashidate
Amanohashidate is one of Japan’s Top 3 Scenic Spots, along with the bay of Matsushima in Miyagi Prefecture and Miyajima in Aki, Hiroshima Prefecture. Across the length of this 3.6km landbridge you’ll find 5000 pine trees planted across its 20m-170m wide shores.
一直很想親眼看看日本三景之一的天橋立，這次終於有機會和家人一起造訪，實際走訪後，真的覺得這趟旅程不虛此行。從大阪市區搭乘鐵路前往天橋立，車程將近三個小時，雖然時間不短，但沿途風景逐漸從城市轉為鄉間，反而讓人多了一份期待。
抵達天橋立後，我們搭乘單人座的纜車前往展望台。隨著纜車緩緩向上，腳下的景色越來越遠，視野也逐漸開闊，微風吹過臉龐，讓人感覺特別舒服。當抵達展望台，看見眼前著名的天橋立景色時，大家都忍不住拿起相機拍照。天橋立是一條由約八千棵松樹組成的沙洲，綿延在宮津灣之中，從高處俯瞰，宛如一條綠色長橋橫跨海面，也因此有「天橋立」之名。
這次造訪最讓我驚喜的是正值櫻花盛開的季節。粉色櫻花與翠綠松林、藍色海灣相互映襯，讓原本就很有特色的景色增添了浪漫氣息。展望台附近還有一座帶有懷舊氛圍的小型遊樂園，遊樂設施搭配春日櫻花彷彿走進一幅畫作裡，讓人視線捨不得離開。

Amanohashidate View Land
Sat atop Mt. Monjuyama, Amanohashidate Viewland offers panaromic views from the south of Amanohashidate. Here you’ll find Matanozokidai, a outlook point nicknamed “Hiryukan” for its views of the Amanohashinodate that looks like a dragon climbing into the heavens.
Amanohashidate, one of Japan's Three Scenic Views, had long been on my bucket list, so I made a special point of adding it to this Kansai trip and finally checked it off my list. It takes about 2–2.5 hours by train from Kyoto or about 2.5–3 hours from Osaka. Although it’s not a short journey, the beautiful scenery makes it all worthwhile.
I visited during cherry blossom season, and several cherry trees near the observation deck were in beautiful bloom. From the right angle, you can capture the soft pink blossoms together with the winding stretch of Amanohashidate. The bay, pine forest, and cherry blossoms blend together like a landscape painted by nature itself.
Looking down at this scenery from above, I couldn’t help but marvel at the wonders of nature. I never knew such a breathtaking view could be hidden between the mountains and the sea. 🌸✨

I-YOKAN SHIKA SHINAI！
A famous confection from Ehime prefecture. Madeleines made from a moist batter that contains sweet and sour iyokan. By added concentrate iyokan juice to the batter, giving it an expressive juicy mouthfeel and the refreshing taste unique of iyokan. Also, by mixing the finely chopped iyokan peel into the batter, you can really feel the taste of the source ingredient.
I-YOKAN SHIKA SHINAI is a recently launched souvenir inspired by Ehime's specialty citrus fruit and made into madeleines. They have a naturally sweet and tart citrus aroma, and the cake is moist and soft. They taste refreshing without being overly sweet. Compared with the traditional Ehime souvenirs commonly available, these feel fresh and new. I highly recommend trying them. I happened to spot them at a local 7-Eleven and bought them right away.
