Odaiba Marine Park is a very popular recreational spot along Tokyo Bay, with a rare sandy beach and expansive ocean views. Walking along the shore, you can see the Rainbow Bridge over Tokyo Bay, boats passing by, and the cityscape across the water. It's especially nice for watching the sunset in the evening.

Omihachiman Canal Boat Tour
Omihachiman traces its origins back to when Toyotomi Hideyoshi ordered his nephew Hidetsugu to build Hachimanyama Castle as the center of Omi Province, replacing Azuchi Castle. By diverting boats traveling on Lake Biwa into Hachiman-bori Canal-originally the castle's moat-the area flourished economically, eventually becoming the birthplace of the prosperous Omi merchants.
近江八幡市是我心中名列前茅的賞櫻景點。如果你也在尋找一處不那麼擁擠、又能感受日本春日風情的賞櫻秘境，我很推薦來一趟近江八幡。四月初櫻花進入盛開時節，沿著水道乘上小船，兩岸景色就像慢慢展開的春日畫卷。
這裡不像市區的熱門景點總是人聲鼎沸，反而多了一份難得的安靜。船隻緩緩前行，偶爾聽見船夫悠揚的吆喝聲，伴隨水面輕輕晃動的波光，整趟旅程都有種悠閒又古樸的氛圍。小橋橫跨水面，岸邊綠意與粉嫩櫻花交織，盛開的枝條甚至一路垂落到湖面附近，微風吹過時，花影也跟著水波輕輕搖曳。
坐在船上不用趕行程，只要靜靜欣賞眼前風景，就能感受到近江八幡獨有的水鄉魅力。當櫻花、古老街景、河川與春日陽光同時映入眼簾，如詩如畫。

Chunichi Building
Chunichi Building, which opened in April 2024, is a mixed-use complex in the Sakae area of Nagoya. From B1F to 5F, it offers a wide variety of shops, including restaurants, cafes, general goods stores, and local product shops, and its greatest appeal is that visitors can enjoy food, shopping, and sightseeing all in one place. Directly connected to the underground mall and easy to access, it is also conveniently located as a base for sightseeing.
While shopping and sightseeing in downtown Nagoya, I wanted to find somewhere to take a break, so I stopped by the Chunichi Building on a whim to look for a drink shop. I unexpectedly came across YATAGARASU on B1F. The shop has a simple design with a slightly artsy feel and mainly sells Japanese tea drinks and sweets.
I ordered an iced matcha au lait that day. The fresh aroma of the matcha blended perfectly with the smoothness of the milk. It went down smoothly with a subtle tea fragrance and was refreshing and thirst-quenching.

Omiyage Kaido Kaikyo Plaza
This souvenir specialty store is located in the "Kaikyo Plaza" commercial complex in the nostalgic Mojiko Retro area. A wide variety of souvenirs from the Mojiko area are on display, including banana snacks unique to Mojiko, which is said to be the birthplace of Banana Auction, and products related to Mojiko's famous gourmet, yaki curry.
When visiting Mojiko, Kaikyo Plaza is a convenient place to stop by and shop for souvenirs. There are many specialty stores inside, where you can find everything from Mojiko specialties to regional foods from across Kyushu, such as the classic baked curry, banana sweets, mentaiko, seafood, and famous Fukuoka confections. In addition to food, they also sell unique goods and souvenirs exclusive to Mojiko and the Kanmon Straits, with a wide variety of options.
