After visiting Ginkakuji Temple, I followed the path and took a leisurely stroll along the peaceful Philosopher's Path nearby. As evening approached, the tourists gradually dispersed, leaving the entire path especially quiet.
I walked slowly alongside the clear canal, with quiet, unassuming streets on both sides. Along the way, I also spotted a few adorable cats lounging lazily on stone walls and enjoying the sunset. Their carefree appearance brought a smile to my face. Although the cherry blossoms had not fully bloomed when I visited, buds in various shades dotted the branches beside the canal. Against the slightly chilly evening sky, they gave off a subtle sense of poetry. There were no noisy crowds, only the gentle sound of flowing water, a pleasant breeze, and scenes filled with everyday life. This peaceful and heartwarming atmosphere is truly the most charming and unforgettable side of Japan to me. I highly recommend leaving some time open to come here and quietly take it all in.
