There are lots of lively shops and restaurants along the way, and the path isn't hard to walk at all.

Yushima (Dangojima)
Floating in the Ariake Sea you’ll find a 4km island known as “Yushima” island, home to over 200 cats and the people who live with them. The cats are kept as precious friends and a special draw for tourists. Cats and the island people seem to live in a stopped time filled with easy going hours as the days go by.
There aren't many ferry departures, so if you miss one, you'll have to wait a long time. It's hard to plan your schedule. There are very few tourist facilities on the island, and after less than an hour, there's really nothing left to see.

Umibozu Main Store
You'll find Umibozu Main Store easily by the oversized, red paper lantern marked with the words “oden”. Located conveniently just 2 min. walk from Shizuoka Station, this spot offers a warm welcome and local vibe once you duck inside. Once inside your eyes will immediately travel to the source of the delicious smell, oden wafting up from the center hot pot.
The staff are super friendly, and the storefront is really easy to spot. Both the oden and fried chicken are delicious!

Tottori Sand Dunes The Sand Museum
The world’s first museum, curating sand creations. It is produced by Katsuhiko Chaen, who was selected as “100 Most Respected Japanese People.” He invites sand sculptors from all over the world to display sand sculpture at the global top level.
The environment is great, and the artworks inside are beautiful.
