The architecture blends beautifully with the natural scenery, and the collection is diverse and impressive. The sunset views are stunning, and a lakeside stroll adds a poetic touch. It's a place you'll want to linger at!

Chichibu Muse Park
A multi-purpose hillside park where nature, culture, and sports come together. Its Approx. 375-hectare grounds are divided into zones such as the Sports Forest, Music Forest, and Culture Forest, with the 3 km-long Sky Road running through the center of the park to connect them. The Sky Train that runs along the Sky Road is popular as an attraction that also serves as transportation within the park, and visitors can also smoothly explore the park by using the Cycling Center and Cycle Land.
Huge! The whole park is full of greenery, and the air feels so fresh.
It’s perfect for a walk, a picnic, or a light jog. On a nice day, the scenery is gorgeous, and you can even see the mountains in the distance.
There are rides, a camping area, slides, bike paths, and pretty much everything else, so it’s great for families or couples who want to relax.
If you visit in the fall, you can also see the autumn leaves, which makes the atmosphere even better.
That said, the park really is pretty big, so I’d recommend wearing comfortable shoes! -
Etomo Cape (Etomo Cape Observatory)
Located on the Pacific side of Muroran City, Hokkaido, Etomo Cape is a breathtaking scenic spot that showcases the region’s natural beauty. From the cape, visitors can enjoy sweeping views of Funka Bay, Mount Usu, Mount Showa-Shinzan, Mount Yotei, and even as far as the Hakodate area on clear days. The observatory, designed to resemble the bow of a sailing ship, features a large helm monument, giving visitors the feeling of embarking on a voyage across the open sea.
The view here is absolutely amazing! You can see the coastline and little islands all at once. On a clear day, the ocean is super blue and just beautiful. It was a bit windy, but honestly, it felt really nice. Perfect spot for a walk or to snap some photos. The whole place feels really peaceful, and watching the sunset here is especially romantic.
