It made its Michelin debut, earning one star, in Michelin Guide Tokyo 2018.

The owner was formerly a manager of “Sushi Kanesaka” inside of the Palace Hotel in Marunouchi. I love the sushi at “Kanesaka,” so I have high hopes for “Sushi Kojima”!

The restaurant has a scant 8 counter seats only. It’s a mature tucked-away restaurant in Ginza.
The dinner menu only has an “omakase” (chef’s choice) course available for around 20,000 yen.

I’ve visited for their lunch before too, so I’ll show my meal from then for a point of reference.
※I have not confirmed whether they are presently still offering lunch courses.

The sushi is a bit on the smaller side and rather rounded.
The sushi rice has also been cooked to the perfect firmness, exactly how I like it!

All of the pieces had a lovely amount of fat to them, absolutely delicious.

What a show of skill!
The owner is also very friendly, so I wasn’t nervous even though it was my first visit, and I was able to have a great and fun meal.
Anyway, I highly recommend Sushi Kojima when you want to have some delicious sushi.
I’d also recommend making a reservation before visiting.

In addition to running an IT consulting firm, I spend my lunch hours scouring the nearby Ginza area for the best places to eat.
