Begin your Osaka trip by taking the Osaka Loop Line or the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line from JR Osaka Station to Tennoji Station. If you are coming from Kansai-airport Station, get off at Tennoji Station and head to Abeno Harukas, the skyscraper towering nearby.

Your destination is HARUKAS 300 Observatory, a three-level observation deck spanning the 58th through 60th floors. The 60th floor features an indoor corridor enclosed in glass from floor to ceiling, creating the sensation of walking through the sky. This is the flagship location of Kushikatsu Daruma, which operates primarily in Osaka City. After savoring the kushikatsu, head up Tsutenkaku Tower, the symbol of Naniwa.

After drinks in Hozenji Yokocho leave you pleasantly tipsy, you will probably want to head straight to a hotel for a good night's sleep.
Opened in 2022, Citadines Namba Osaka is a modern hotel with 313 guest rooms inside the Takashimaya East Building, a notable work of architecture designated as a National Important Cultural Property.
