Cafe De Dango.
A cafe with original and creative dango that perfectly complements coffee.
Located on the approach to Takahatafudoson, one of the three great Fudo temples in the Kanto region, this cafe offers over 50 varieties of dango. The owner, who has traveled throughout Japan tasting dango, serves not only classic flavors like mitarashi and red bean but also unique variations like rum raisin and tiramisu, which he calls "Evolution Dango." The specialty coffee is made with carefully selected beans and extracted one drop at a time using the time-consuming cold-brew method. The owner, a former backpacker, offers coffee in various styles inspired by the different ways he discovered while traveling around the world.
The shop owner, a dango maniac, offers more than 50 types of dango at all times, selected from over a hundred varieties.
Specialized coffee (all cold-brewed).
The food menu includes a recreation of the classic café curry. Occasionally, the elusive Hayashi Rice, unconventional Napolitan, and mysterious Vibudurugourmand Curry are also available.
In summer, shaved ice is available, and in winter, 11 types of shiruko (sweet red bean soup) are sold.
