Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise, located in Kanazawa Ward, Yokohama City, is a comprehensive marine leisure facility featuring an aquarium, attractions, restaurants, shopping stores, and hotels.
Affectionately known as "Sea Para", it features four aquariums with different themes: the "Aqua Museum", home to 120,000 creatures from 700 species; the "Dolphin Fantasy", where you can observe dolphins from various perspectives; the "Fureai Lagoon", where you can interact with sea creatures; and the "Umi Farm", which focuses on "marine cultivation".
In the "Pleasure Land" attractions, you can enjoy 16 ocean-themed attractions, including a thrilling roller coaster that runs over the sea and a dynamic rapid slide where you ride a boat on a whirlpool course.
There are also various facilities such as restaurants, barbecue spots, and shopping stores, making it perfect for strolling while looking out at the sea. The fact that many restaurants allow pets is another nice feature.
