Iwatsuki Joshi Park in Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture, was built on the ruins of Iwatsuki Castle, which is said to have been built in the mid-15th century. It is known as a famous viewing spot, with about 600 cherry trees in full bloom in spring.

The "Cherry Blossom Festival" is held every year when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, and attracts many visitors. The contrast between the vermilion lacquered "Yatsuhashi" bridge over the iris pond in the middle of the park and the cherry blossoms in full bloom is very photogenic. It is so beautiful that you will want to take a picture of it. At night, the cherry blossoms are lit up and you can enjoy a romantic night view.

After the cherry blossom season, water lilies come next. From early summer to autumn, water lilies fill the iris pond and delight the eyes of visitors with their poetic beauty.

It is a very rich green park surrounded by natural forest, and the existing moat without filling water of Iwatsuki Castle has been turned into a promenade, so it is recommended to take a walk and enjoy the forest.
The park is also home to the Tobu Railway's "Kinu Express Romance Car", which is open to the public on weekends and holidays. If you like trains, this is a must-see.
