Iroha Shinsui Park stretches along Shingashi River in rich nature. Abundant water and the natural setting are utilized in this spacious park. It is divided into 4 zones (Sandbank, Right bank, Left bank, and Crescent moon lake) and 2 pathways (Cherry Blossom Path and Sunlight Path).

Many wild birds find a refuge along the river. Visitors feel the nature close here. Below a shrine, Komorebi-no-michi (Sunlight path) runs along a canal with stone walls, a wooden bridge and a natural spring rare in the city. By the park’s banks, reed and Amur silver grass colony conservation area offers home to harvest mice. Fireflies also enjoy this valuable natural environment.

In spring, the path along the banks are lined with many Somei Yoshino cherry blossoms, and in fall, the cosmos bursts in color. It’s a popular spot for adoring flowers. “Iroha no watashi” offers you a Japanese boat ride. The Park has been setting up food/drink facilities and a playground to make the area more attractive to more visitors.
