It is a comprehensive resort facility that spreads out on the shores of Lake Shiozawa which is located on the south end of Karuizawa.
Within the premises, there is the Peynet Museum which houses Raymond Peynet's works depicting lovers cuddling close together, with a soft touch, and the Koko Fukazawa Nonohana Museum where you are able to enjoy the paintings of delicate and pretty wildflowers by Koko Fukazawa, and Karuizawa Kogen Bunko where you are able to see materials of writers relating to Karuizawa such as Tatsuo Hori and Takeo Arishima. The cultural facilities are lined up in the quiet forest that creates an academic atmosphere.

The English Rose Garden where the beautiful roses are in full bloom is a great photo-spot. There are also fully equipped leisure facilities. You are able to do some exercising on a go-kart, cycle monorail, or boat, and enjoy sports such as family golf, archery, and tennis.

There are also eating facilities such as a restaurant and a hamburger shop in the park. You are able to enjoy a variety of dishes made with the local foods and should stop by there during your walk.
