Banya Main shop

Inexpensive big plate for fresh local seasonal fish!

Last update :

The restaurant is situated inside the fishing port in the Chiba Uchibo area of the Boso Peninsula, facing the Uraga Channel in Tokyo Bay. As the local fisherman’s union manages this restaurant, the quality of seafood is guaranteed.

At the entrance, the fish caught in that morning swim in a giant tank in the same environment as the ocean. Every day, the menu list gets changed depending on the weather and sea condition. The “Today’s fish” list will help you pick out the best dish. The dish is always simply seasoned but rich in flavor from the seafood itself. The size and the price are also a surprise. The majority of customers order sashimi, which is fresh and very delicious. You should also try the Variety of fish fries and the Fishermen’s lunch dish with marinated sashimi. Additionally, if you order a set of rice, miso soup, and pickles with any à la carte menu item, you can turn it into a set meal style.

After the meal, you can stop by the adjacent souvenir shop or visit the hot spring facility, Banya no Yu, for a relaxing bath time.
