Lake & Happy-side Mall Pieri Moriyama

A newly revived giant shopping mall next to Lake Biwa.

Last update :

The Pieri occupies a vast site right next to Lake Biwa, housing about 120 stores offering fashion, food, eating, and amusement opportunities, etc. It has completed its renewal process in 2014 December. It became home to the first shops in the prefecture for H&M, Burger King, etc., as well as to many large-scale stores including ZARA, Nitori, Avail, and Nishimatsuya.

The Pieri Moriyama offers more than shopping. The adjacent Biwako SKY Adventure features rope adventure trails on 4 and 8 meter heights and a zipline approximately 100 meters in length as well as the 9 meter height jumping platform called Tobinasai. Children and adults can have an exciting day of adventure with all these activities.

A hot spring facility, Moriyama Yumoto Suishun, also opened in 2019. You can bath and relax your body all while overlooking Lake Biwa close by. The natural hot spring water rises up from deep underground in the strata of Lake Biwa. This sodium chloride and bicarbonate spring water is known for beautifying benefits.

You should follow the updates of the Pieri Moriyama, as they keep adding exciting facilities.
