The town of the Gero Onsen, one of the three best hot springs in Japan, is located along the clear Hida River. Hotel Kusakabe Armeria is a resort-type hotel standing on a hill overlooking Gero Onsen town.
Gero Onsen is known for beauty water with a soft feeling. There are two impressive bathrooms in the hotel. Especially, the outdoor bathroom on 8th floor, built entirely of Hinoki cypress, offers a magnificent view of the hot spring resort town.
A variety of dishes and attention to food makes this place more popular. At their luxurious dinner buffet, they offer more than 50 dishes of Japanese, Chinese, and Western cuisine, including desserts. Their open style kitchen provides a vibrant dining experience where chefs grill churrasco meat and assemble sushi right in front of you. The live music adds more excitement too.
You should check out their Amazing Thailand New Half Show, a very popular stage event for all ages (with fee, check the opening day and time in advance). In addition, there are many more entertainment activities, making it hard to attend all in just one day; examples being the Izakaya Red Brick Jazz café, a fun Karaoka Room, a spa and beer garden (summer),as well as an outdoor garden pool (summer).
