Yamanakako, the largest of the Fuji Five Lakes. Once known as the “Princess Odette”, the newly revamped sightseeing boat cruising Lake Yamanakako is now operating as “Swan Lake”. The full route takes 25 minutes, offering a cozy ride as you gaze upon the gorgeous lake scenery and Mt. Fuji above.

The entire boat is designed to resemble a swan, based on the idea of having “The most beautiful swan in Japan float across a premier spot at Mt. Fuji’s footsteps”. Its received a number of accolades, floating across the lake in all of its glory under the swan design furnished by Japanese designer Eiji Mitooka.

The boat entire features a natural oak lumber finish with gorgeous wood grain. Inside its plump shape, guests are greeted with a warm, cozy feel inside.

There are a number of added perks across the boat for young ones to enjoy, including special kids seating, as well as seats with steering wheels and binoculars to give a real seafaring look and feel. There’s even a water-friendly swan feeding experience where you can buy your Swan Lake boat ticket along with food to feed the swans as a set. You won’t want to miss this chance to enjoy the gorgeous views and meet with a few wild swans along the way.

You can get on at two places, either the Asahigaoka or Yamanaka Piers. Please note that changes in open days/hours may occur if a state of emergency related to COVID-19 is declared.
