Motoe Cafe (Manabeshima)

A general store on the island was renovated to serve food such as the famous curry and drink.

Last update :

1-min walk from Manabeshima Island’s Honura Port through a narrow alley, Motoe Cafe inherited the name from Motoe Store, a general store of the island, which was renovated into a vast space with a high ceiling. Generously spaced tables and chairs offer comfort after a tour or while waiting for a boat.

Their menu is all from scratch. The famous Motoe Curry is made with the base of simmered beef shank. The chef wanted customers to enjoy the genuine taste of curry and made it simple. Try their European curry.

The cafe menu includes Motoe Blend, made of choice coffee beans roasted in-house, and baked cheesecake with just the right sweetness. Just walking around the island is fun, and the cafe adds a nice space to refresh.
