Lake Akan is Hokkaido's fifth largest freshwater lake and is known as a habitat for marimo moss balls. Marimo moss balls can be found in freshwater lakes all over the world, but the ones in Lake Akan have international significance due to their beautiful spherical shape with a diameter of more than 15 cm.
The marimo moss balls can be seen at the Marimo Exhibition and Observation Center on Churui Island, and admission includes a 90-minute sightseeing cruise. You can admire the beautiful water and natural scenery while rocking on the boat, and in the evening, it blends with the light of the setting sun to create a spectacular view.
The area around Lake Akan is Akan-Mashu National Park, a spiritual site where you can walk and feel the mysterious nature that is unique to Hokkaido.

其中就以阿寒湖上冰釣太公魚最為有趣了 , 如果真的技術不行 , 店家還會貼心贈送一盤酥炸太公魚給你們吃喔!
阿寒湖可以划獨木舟、也可以在泥火山遊步道看火山景觀，並且到愛努聚落看傳統工藝品嚐道地原住民料理，雖然那一條街短短20分鐘可以走完，但裡面有特色咖啡廳也有精湛手藝的手工藝品，來此絕對可以享受美景也體驗當地愛奴文化。
冬天可以在湖面上釣公魚、釣完旁邊有店家提供代炸的服務，還可以坐冰上香蕉船，相當好玩！夏天的湖光山色也非常漂亮！
一抵達飯店導遊叫我們換裝準備去湖上玩雪上活動，雪上摩托車、香蕉船、冰上釣魚等，場地太過於空曠，風吹到耳朵痛得不行，雖然痛苦還是玩得不亦樂乎。
很喜歡阿寒湖的綠球藻，圓滾滾的很可愛看了很療癒。
