Nestled in a rustic mountain village with traditional pastoral scenery, this cafe restaurant is housed in a charmingly renovated old farmhouse. It takes pride in its salad and obanzai (traditional Kyoto side dishes) buffet, heavily featuring local Ohara and Kyoto vegetables. The master, a certified vegetable sommelier, prepares each dish according to the best cooking method for the vegetable, resulting in a robust flavor that highlights the natural taste of the vegetables.

Lunch is buffet-only for 2,000 yen. Among the various menu items, the onigiri (rice balls) are especially popular for their cute bite-size and small size, making them easy to eat for women. Dishes like 'Manganji Pepper Taitan' and 'Meat Miso Bell Pepper' feature vegetables as the main attraction, with about 10 different types of obanzai. The all-you-can-eat buffet of seasonal vegetable obanzai is so popular that queues often form during weekend lunchtimes.
