A cruise tour to view ships docked at Yokosuka Main Port from the sea.

For about 170 years since Commodore Perry's arrival, Yokosuka Port has developed as a naval base. Daily cruise tours are conducted around Yokosuka Main Port, where the base of the United States Navy's 7th Fleet is located, and Nagaura Port, where the headquarters of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force is situated, allowing close-up views of various ships from the sea.

The approximately 45-minute tour on a cruise ship equipped with special anti-fog glass rooms and a covered second-floor deck offers a chance to see a variety of ships, including Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force destroyers and United States Navy Aegis ships. If the timing is right, you might even encounter rare vessels such as Antarctic observation icebreakers or submarines. Don't miss the live commentary inside the ship by unique guides who share trivia about the ships, Yokosuka's history, and tourist information.

The shop at the Shioiri Terminal, the departure and arrival point for the cruise ship, sells original goods themed on ships, retort curries, and snacks. Many products feature unique Yokosuka packaging designs, making them perfect souvenirs.
